Immaginario Scientifico – Science Museum (IS), formerly known as Science Centre Immaginario Scientifico, is an interactive and experimental science museum with locations in Trieste (In Warehouse 26 in Porto Vecchio) and Pordenone. IS belongs to the typology of ” new generation museums,” or science centers of the Anglo-Saxon school. In fact, the center adopts the peculiar display techniques characteristic of interactive museums, with the presence of interactive stations(exhibit hands-on) that invite the public to experience and “touch” natural phenomena, and with the use of informal educational animation methodologies, namely thematic, interactive and tinkering workshops.
